Today, John had to make a weekend house call to one of his clients because of a "water issue". Those two words together are never good news in construction. So John asked Jack if he wanted to go to work with him. Jack responded "No, take Alex." But after we explained that Daddy needed someone with highly specialized skills such as Jack, he agreed he would buck up and accompany his dad. So off he went, with his Bob the Builder toolbox and his "working hat" (any baseball cap).
Upon his return, I asked Jack what important tasks he had taken on while at the job site. His reply:
-He played with Quinn (the 3 year old daughter of John's clients)
-He jumped on the jumping machine (trampoline)
-He fixed a washer
Just a typical day for a future general contractor. It's a rough world out there.
